A trader will often joke about the "metre of trading books" on their bookshelf! I'm guilty of having a metre... (ok maybe slightly more than that!) There are so many trading and investing books available but here is a list of just a few that I've felt have improved my trading.

Book title Author Description
Building wealth in the stock market Colin Nicholson "provides a complete model for investing successfully and safely in bull and bear markets. As an experienced investor and teacher, I share with readers my very own investment plan - one that has been honed over 40 years and has seen me consistently beat the market and my target rate of return"

Considering that in 2008 capital managed by fund managers dropped up to 50% we are in desperate need of an alternative way of thinking. In Unholy Grails, Nick Radge details a road less traveled; a compilation of practical strategies for investors looking for long term gains with minimum daily effort.
